After releasingYakuza Kiwami 1and2in the west over the past few years, it seemed likely that Sega would opt to bring the next three remastered installments in the series to the west sooner or later, too. Today during Gamescom, we finally received confirmation of such.
Sega announced thatThe Yakuza Remastered Collectionis heading to PS4 consoles for those in the western region. This collection is made of the PS3 games in the series and includesYakuza 3,Yakuza 4, andYakuza 5. Perhaps best of all with this news though, is thatYakuza 3is available right this moment.

Yes, if you’re looking to snag the third entry in the series on your own PS4 now, you can do so.Yakuza 3 Remasteredwill be available to download today and Sega also announced dates for the next two entries as well.Yakuza 4 Remasteredwill drop later this fall on August 25, 2025, andYakuza 5Remasteredwill then arrive early next year on July 12, 2025. All three games can be downloaded digitally as they arrive over the coming months, or you can hold off and purchase a physical edition ofTheYakuza Remastered Collectionwhich will include all three titles and will launch next February.
This news isn’t all that shocking (except for the part whereYakuza 3is out today) as it always seemed like these versions would come westward in due time. Still, it’s wonderful to now have the entireYakuzasaga fromYakuza0all the way up until last year’s release ofYakuza 6all on a single platform.
If you want to purchase the fullYakuza Remastered Collectionbundle, it will cost you $59.99. Conversely, you’re able to now also purchase theYakuza Origins Digital Bundleon PS4 which includesYakuza 0,Yakuza Kiwami 1, andYakuza Kiwami 2all for $49.99.
