Thanks to a bunch of unclear rumors, the people responsible for the Xbox brand recently had to prepare a special edition of the official podcast to clarify the plans of the company in the future. Thanks to a new post in Resetera, an official forum for Xbox, one very reliable insider has revealed new information about the newFablegame and when it could launch. Users also asked about theBanjo-Kazooiegame and what development state it was in.
Fable could be released next yearon Xbox
One of the most anticipatedXboxexclusive games isFable; the first one was launched back in 2004 for the first Xbox console. Later, with a very complicated development, two more games were released, with Peter Molyneux as the main creator. Unfortunately, things between this popular developer and Xbox did not end up on good terms. Molyneux left Lionhead Studios back in 2012 and never worked on aFablegame again. This new entry will work as a reboot and was announced back in 2020.

Nate also talked about a possibleStay of Decay 3and theBanjo-Kazooiegame, not giving much hope of seeing this project anytime soon.Fablehas been announced for more than 3 years, so it may be very advanced in its development.
Some exclusives may be really close to launch
TheFablefranchise has sold more than 20 million copies in total for Xbox, so it should be a very well-received game among Xbox players. This company really needs a very good exclusive to compete with Sony and Nintendo. The last couple of exclusives didn’t really work for Xbox, or they could not achieve sales numbers that the company required.Starfieldwas not the success from Bethesda that Xbox was hoping for. This year could also be a very good chance for Xbox to launch some exclusives.Sony has already confirmedthat it will not be launching any big first party games until 2025.
