Like the title implies, in the post, the user expressed their surprise after they discovered that they had completely misunderstood what a ‘Game Preview’ was.

The user assumed that the tag meant they could play a limited portion of the game to try it out, kind of like a trial period. However, they only recently learned that it actually grants access to the full game.
The post led to a discussion among other users, several of whom agreed that the labeling could be a bit misleading.

One user agreed, but felt that the term ‘Early Access,’ could also be misleading, as it implies that you’re simply accessing a finished game ahead of others, rather than playing an incomplete version. As an alternative, they suggested ‘Beta Test.’

However, another user defended the term ‘Game Preview’ for the same reason the other user said that Early Access would be inaccurate.
