However,Arcaneis coming to an end with its second season, and if Riot wants to stay as relevant as it is now, it needs to act fast. Riot Games are known for their engaging lore and tight storytelling. With the end ofArcane, Riot needs to shift its focus to developing a series out ofValorant.
Valorant has a story worth telling, similar to Arcane
The lore ofValorantis set in a world torn apart by destruction from an event called the first light, the aftermath of which resulted in the discovery of a material known as ‘radianite’ and the emergence of ‘radiants’, the protectors of the material, from an evil corporation called ‘Kingdom’ who are set to use the radianite for personal gains.
After the event of the first light, the world was torn apart between two identical dimensions or realms, Alpha and Omega Earth, resulting in the emergence of identical evil radiants in Omega Earth.

The purpose of their conflict is still not very clear except for one’s attempt to save the radianite while the other tries to destroy it, but it sure is clear that the conflict between the two is the one on which the game is based.
However, the most interesting part ofValorant’slore, with the potential of being adapted for TV, is the backstory of the radiants, such as Omen, who was obliterated by the first light and turned into a shadow of his earlier self with no recollection of his past life whatsoever, and Viper, who was a part of Kingdom’s research team and was among the founding members of Valorant Protocol, a group of highly skilled radiants sworn to protect the radianite with their lives, to name a few.

The Radiants live a life of suspense
Much of what can be grasped from the cinematics shared by Riot only prolongs the suspense of what happened and why the war between two dimensions is worth fighting for in the first place.

Valorant Episode 9 Will Make Some Vital Changes to 2 Popular Agents
Riot has not given definitive answers about where the story ofValorantis headed, but whatever’s been told has great potential to be developed further for the screen.
An unconfirmed leak claiming that aValorantmovie is under development raised eyebrows last year but nothing has been officially announced by Riot. It can not be denied that Riot understands the potential ofValorant’slore and will surely focus on bringing it to the screen soon.
