After years of partnership and attendance, Bandai Namco eSports will no longer be working with or attending WePlay eSports' events.

Today, two major names in the esports industry announced that they’re parting ways, so what happened between Bandai Namco eSports and WePlay eSports?
Who is WePlay eSports?
WePlay eSports is an esports event organizer that hosts tournaments for games such asCS: GO,Valorant,Dota 2,Mortal Kombat 11, andTekken 7.
Why Did Bandai Namco eSports Stop Working With Them?
While the exact reason for the split between the two companies isn’t officially clear, there are some clues that might help us figure out what exactly happened. While the announcement doesn’t bring up any specifics, it seems like the split is likely the result of WePlay’s recent partnership with 1XBet, an esports gambling company. Plenty of companies are uncomfortable with the inclusion of gambling in the esports space, so this may be one explanation. Remember to take that with a grain of salt, as it’s just speculation.
