Emotionally, Hiddleston is still not over his character as the Greek God of Mischief, but the conclusion ofLokiwas sort of a significant ending for him. He revealed that the director of the series, Aaron Moorhead, gave him an idea to bring out his best performance in his final scenes.

Hiddleston went through his work over the last 15 years, majorly comprising his MCU roles. Moorhead wanted theThoractor to carry it with him when he stepped in to film his last scene. Surprisingly, the director’s advice worked out well for the actor who was able to give a heartwarming performance in his final scenes inLoki.

During a recent interview with Backstage,Tom Hiddlestonopened up about filming two of the most emotionally impactful scenes inLoki. One was his scene in the first episode of the first season ofLoki, where the titular character gets to witness his own death at the hands of Thanos.

Before showing his imminent death, Loki is shown what happened in his life after the New York attack. Hiddleston shared that he was taken down the MCU memory lane for the scene and he prepared himself by internalizing those memories, characters, and actors.

He got to do this exercise one more time as per his director’s advice in the last episode of Season 6. In a scene that puts an end to his 13-year arc in the MCU, Loki leaves his friends to take control of the sacred timeline and save the universe. Aaron Moorhead made the suggestion that he should revisit his old work in the MCU and carry it with him while filming the last scene.

Hiddleston shared that he watched clips fromThor, which jogged the memory of his days as a budding actor yet to make it to the A-list.He rewatchedThe Avengersand felt grateful about the time spent with the“original six Avengers”.

Tom Hiddleston recently appeared at the ComFest in Kuwait and was asked about his potential appearance alongsideRyan Reynolds.

He gave acryptic response as usual, neither admitting nor denying theDeadpool 3cameo rumors. He shared that he was not allowed to tell them and that Marvel was protective of their information. Hiddleston shared (via @PhaseZeroCB):

I might not be allowed to tell you. I truly don’t know. Marvel are correctly protective of their information so that when you go to the movie for the first time, the surprises jump out of the screen.
