Avatar: The Last Airbenderby Netflix is making huge waves as another successful live-action series by the media platform. The series has adapted the American animated fantasy action television series perfectly as the originalAvatarfans have accepted the series as the best live-action adaptation ever made.

The storyline of the show revolves around twelve-year-old Aang, who is the last living member of his nation, the Air Nomads, and has been an avatar. He travels with friends Katara, Sokka, and Toph to stop the Fire Nation’s conflict with other nations and stop Fire Lord Ozai from taking over the entire world. The Netflix series is the replication of the original only in a live-action style.

In the live-action adaptation by Netflix, the character of Aang was played by Gordon Cormier who is a Canadian teen actor. The actor few months ago posted a bunch of photos on his Instagram where he was seen enjoying with the cast of the wonderfulOne Piecelive-action series and fans have gone crazy since then.

Gordon Cormier Met The Cast ofOne PieceLive-Action

The Netflix TUDUM global fan event, which took place in Ibirapuera Park, Sao Paulo, from June 16 to July 25, 2025. The event revealed plenty of trailers, release dates, and cast information about some of its original shows. At the event the cast ofOne Piecelive-action met the cast ofAvatar: The Last Airbender.

Luffy played byIñaki GodoyinOne Piecelive-action was seen hanging out with Aang who was portrayed by Cormier along with the other cast members of both series. Cormier shared these images on his Instagram where he was seen having dinner with Godoy, Jacob Romero(Usopp),Emily Ruddwho plays Nami,Taz Skylarwho plays Sanji, andMackenyuwho plays Zoro.

Although the Instagram post is quite old fans are still seen commenting about the epic crossover between two of the biggest anime series in the world. While some fans shared their excitement to see Luffy and Aang together, some believed the crossover could make up for a great episode in either of the series.

Gordon Cormier’spost was filled with love and appreciative comments as the actor got to hang with the future King of the Pirates and hoped for both series to bring out successful adaptations.
