Ubisot seems to be making up for the delayed release of its next installation in theAssassin’s Creedfranchise,Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is now expected to be released on August 17, 2025.

It seems to have come up with a new patch update for one of the weakest games in the franchise. The update will let you play the game at 60 fps and will also be playable at 4K now on Xbox Series X, PS5, and PS5 Pro. It is audacious of the studio to believe we will play this game on a $700 PS5 Pro.
This Is Not The Assassin’s Creed Game That Fans Wanted
The last fewAssassin’s Creedgames have been a little underwhelming. However, that was supposed to change with the release ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows, which is the first game to be set in feudal Japan and lets you play as a shinobi and samurai.
The fate of the franchise was in its hands, but its inevitable delay caused a lot of frustration among fans. Ubisoft has not come up with an upgraded version ofAssassin’s Creed Syndicate, which is by far one of the most boring and weakest games in the franchise. It is the ninth edition of these games.

Ubisoft is offering players a chance to play the 2015 title with better video quality at higher fps. You can play the game now at 60FPS with 4K enabled for most consoles. However, fans are wondering about what’s more sad, playing a boring game or playing it on a $700 console.
“Weimar Republic was a good idea”: The Next Assassin’s Creed Set Right after World War 1 Could Do What Call of Duty Did With Black Ops
Assassin’s Creed Syndicateis by no means worth the hype, even after a massive upgrade that is going to make the game feel fresh and new. The game lacks a good narrative structure and has very little to do.
Ubisoft Needs To Focus On The Next Big Thing
Instead of giving us upgraded versions of its old games,it should focus on developing the upcoming game, which is highly anticipated. The game was supposed to be released in November 2024 but was inevitably delayed a couple of months further.
After Shadows, Ubisoft Should Set Next Assassin’s Creed Game in Persia to Honor its Most Cursed Franchise
This is one of the most anticipated games from Ubisoft. It will be the first time we will get to venture into the land of Japan during the feudal age. Even the protagonists seem to have a rich background and narrative attached to them.
However, the dream of playing the game soon is clearly not looking like it might get fulfilled anytime soon. Instead, we get a boring old game to play until the franchise’s next installment is released, and that too on the most expensive console on the market yet. What do you think about it?
