“What I hope that does is give us longer to really live in the characters and to spend more time in Matt Murdock’s world as a lawyer. And still have all the cool Daredevil superhero stuff, but to really live in his world and ground the show in the day-to-day life of someone who’s a lawyer, I think could be really interesting.”

Indeed, focusing on Matt Murdock’s character and his day job as a lawyer will not only make fans connect with the character more but also help the series stay true to the comic book adaptation. Further, Marvel Studios also has the experience and witnessed success in combining superhero action with legal drama, like that done flawlessly inShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Therefore, it seems Charlie Cox’s demand might get fulfilled as he entrusted his complete confidence in Marvel’s ability to produce a winning series that will focus on the true comic book story and show Matt Murdock’s day job as a lawyer. Who can say no to more interesting content ripped from the comics? Although as of now, it’s unconfirmed if Marvel will portray Murdock’s legal work, but if they do, comic book fans will certainly lose their minds.
