For the past few months, Tatsuki Fujimoto, one of the most renowned manga creators, famously known for works likeChainsaw ManandLook Back, has been getting mixed reviews on his artwork.Chainsaw Manhas one of the biggest fanbases in the manga industry, but as of now, this fanbase has been divided by the current art style of the manga.

A few months back, Fujimoto changed his art style in theChainsaw Manmanga series. While some fans didn’t mind it, others were not at all in favor of it. They felt like the drawings became worse and his work felt sped up. This led to a huge backlash against the manga creator, as his drawings were one of the best aspects of his work, the biggest example being his one-shot mangaLook Back, which recently got an anime adaptation.
The fans who are still in favor of Fujimoto believe that the reason behind his different art style is the pressure that he has been feeling to release a new chapter every week in Weekly Shonen Jump. If Shonen Jump offers the same leniency that it does to manga creator Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter), Fujimoto might be able to make his art style even better than it was whenChainsaw Manstarted.

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Art Style Has Divided The Fans
Although Fujimoto had a unique art style since the beginning ofChainsaw Manin 2018, fans didn’t really mind it because the thrilling storyline covered for it. However, the manga creator decided to completely change his art style a few months ago, and that’s when the Fujimoto fandom got divided.

Fujimoto what happened to your artstyle…..
Bros been phoning it in for awhile unfortunately i wish he’d go monthly clearly doesn’t want to spend as much time drawing 😔
What serialisation does to a mf

Yeah not to be disrespectful but i was having a hard time reading it. Couldn’t figure out what was happening.
Still, there are some fans who understand the pressureTatsuki Fujimotofeels for releasing a chapter every week, and that too for one of the best-selling mangas in the industry.

Weekly Shonen Jump Needs To Go Easy On Tatsuki Fujimoto
Despite the current general opinion about Fujimoto, the manga creator’s art style is actually better than many other mangakas. The biggest example of this is his one-shot manga,Look Back.
Oh yeah a one shot of Fujimoto got better artwork than his ongoing manga with a deadline i wonder why is that..https://t.co/9CJGaDyP7r
Look Backwas released in 2021, and to this day it is appreciated for the attention to detail in its artwork. It recently got an anime adaptation, which is also trending among fans.
Weekly Shonen Jump needs to pull some strings and give Fujimoto the leniency that it did withYoshihiro Togashi, the creator ofHunter x Hunter.Togashi is a stickler for quality over quantity. He has expressed multiple times that he will only release the chapters ofHunter x Hunterwhen he feels that he has justified the quality of it and Weekly Shonen Jump offers him this option.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 182 Might be Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Master Stroke to Bring Back All the Fans He Lost Since Part 1
Thus, if Fujimoto alsogets a similar treatment, he might be able to bring out his best art style that would even exceed the initial days ofChainsaw Man.However, there are a lot of factors that probably prohibit Weekly Shonen Jump and Shueisha from offering such leniency to other manga creators.
Chainsaw Manis available to read on Viz Media.
