In a report shared byPeople, the new court documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court revealed that Jolie’s attorneys claimed she “was not acting with malice and the intent to hurt Pitt in response to any custody ruling.” The file also stated:
Instead, it was Pitt who refused to buy her interest unless he received his newly expanded NDA, enforceable by an $8.5 million holdback specifically designed to force her silence about his abuse and cover-up.
Pitt’s side claimed, “He did not use the NDA to attempt to cover up any abuse.” The controversial 2016 plane ride of the Jolie-Pitt family allegedly turned into a nightmare after the actor “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall,” as reported byUSA Today. Pitt was also accused of choking one of the children and striking another in the face.
