Stellar Blade, the PlayStation 5 exclusive title from Shift Up that released back in April was surrounded by controversy. The game, despite all hurdles, has been a success for both the developer and Sony, with the game reportedly selling over a million copies.

This was the first console title from the developer as it had previously only made titles for smartphones but the efforts paid off. Shift Up recently teased a big collab at the end of this year inStellar Bladebut fans are wondering if aMortal Kombatcrossover would fit in the game.
Stellar Blade Fans Are Wondering About a Mortal Kombat Crossover
Soon after the successful launch of the game, Shift Up announced thatStellar Bladewill have a crossover eventwith its mobile gameGoddess of Victory: Nikke. The collaboration will seeNikkeoutfits coming to the game for different characters while characters from the game including Eve, Lily, Taki, and Raven will appear inNikke.

There isn’t much know about when exactly the crossover will take place but it is expected to be somewhere around the end of this year. The developer has also said that Photo Mode is coming to the game soon so it may be held only after this feature arrives in the game.
While more details are awaited on the collab, fans are now wondering ifMortal Kombatcrossover could work in the game. One fan created a poll on the game’s subreddit asking the community members if they’ll support this crossover. Although the result of the poll isn’t out yet, fans in comments do not think it fits into the game.

One user said that the franchise is unfit for a crossover but added,“Between Nikke and NieR we already have a lot of crossover potential.”Nierplays a lot likeStellar Bladeand fans are certain that the elements of the both games compliment each other and it could help the collaboration work.

One fan said that there will like an outfit for Eve in the game but she as a guest character does not work in the game. Another fan added,“No, I don’t want to see Eve gets brutalized. Any other fighting game is fine, except MK.”

There are also fans who have said that if it was olderMortal Kombatthey would support it, but the modern game is not good for this crossover.
