Netflix Geeked Week Day 5 has given us a closer look at Chad and Jared Moldenhauer’sThe Cuphead Show, and revealed that popular American actor Wayne Brady will be voicing King Dice.

The adaptation of the popular rubber hose-styled game was announced last year, and will follow the adventures of Cuphead and his brother Mugman.

The streaming platform revealed a sneak peak of King Dice in action, who was primed and ready to put on a good show.

Netflix Geeked Week debuted our first look at King Dice, who will be voiced by the reality television star Wayne Brady.

The short clip featured a fair amount of scat singing from King Dice, as well as plenty of trumpet fanfare, setting the mood perfectly for the rest of the show.

The clip also showed a lot of the side characters that will be populating the series, including an old telephone, fork, and aubergine.

King Diceis one of the main antagonists of the Cuphead game, known as ‘The Devil’s Right-Hand Man’.

The character usually frequents every Die House, and collects the souls that Mugman and Cuphead deliver to him.

In addition to appearing in the opening scene of the game, King Dice can also be fought during the ‘All Bets Are Off!’ level.

The Cuphead Show’spremise will revolve around the brothers, Cuphead and Mugman, carrying over the game’s specific 1930s animation style.

Instead of following the events of the game, the show will instead be based more so on character development.

Cuphead has been plaguing our minds with catchy jingles and addictive gameplay since 2017 for Xbox One and PC, joining the Nintendo Switch catalogue in 2019 and thePS4 later in 2020.
