In case you haven’t already seen it, this holiday season’s best deal is likely that of the new1 TB PS4 Slim model which comes with a digital copy ofMarvel’s Spider-Manall for $199.99. It’s a great deal on its own, but one that’s even made better if you happen to go to retailer GameStop and take advantage of some of their current trade-in offers.
If you still have a launch 500 GB PS4 and are looking to upgrade, GameStop this week is offering you $140 of in-store credit for your console. Combine this with another current promo that GameStop is running and you’ll get an additional $25 for your PS4 from now through December 2. That brings your total up to $165 for a launch PS4 console, which isn’t too shabby.
Now, if you take that in-store credit and then opt to pick up the newMarvel’s Spider-ManPS4 bundle, which ends up being close to about $215 after tax, you’ll essentially be doubling your PS4’s storage space while also netting yourself a copy ofSpider-Manall for only spending $50 of your own money. That’s a pretty amazing deal.
If you’ve been still sitting on a launch version of your PS4 and have been wanting to make an upgrade–trust me, the storage space improvement alone is worth it–then this seems like about as good as you may do this holiday season. Plus, depending on whether or not you already haveMarvel’s Spider-Man, this deal is even better considering you’re gettingone of the year’s best games. And if you already do own the game, you could just trade that in as well (assuming you own it physically) to further knock down the price and make this offer even better.
Anyway, it’s something to think about in this season where deals are popping up left and right. We might not see anything better than this the rest of the year, so act soon if you want to save yourself a couple of bucks.
