Xenoblade Chronicles 3offers players a vast map to explore, some interesting game mechanics, andan overall adventure that can take around 100 hours to complete. Players will unlock the extra hero slot after reaching Chapter 2.Though they cannot play as these formidable fighters directly, these Heroes can assist the remaining members by making their classes available for the team.Here’s how to acquire the extra Attacker Heroes, as well as some recommended ones to go for.

All Unlockable Attacker Heroes and Classes

There are nine unlockable Attacker Heroes and corresponding classes. While some of these Heroes can be unlocked simply bycompleting particular chapters in the lengthy story, some will require the players to complete specific Hero Quests instead.After acquiring one of these Heroes, a member of the main party will then be assigned as the unlocked Hero’s Inheritor.

Riku, Manana and the Yumsmith class can be unlocked by completing the A Nopon’s Counsel Hero Quest in Chapter 3 at the Urayan Mines.

Ashenpelt Gray

Full Metal Jaguar

Gray and Full Metal Jaguar can be unlocked by completing A Gray Matter Hero Quest in Chapter 3 at Millick Meadows.

Juniper and Stalker can be unlocked by completing the Natural Selection Hero Quest in Chapter 4 at Colony Tau.

Craftmaiden Alexandria

After liberating Colony Iota, Alexandria will be unlocked. Meeting Alexandria will start a cutscene, after which the players must defeat Agnian lieutenants (all level 40). After they are defeated, Alexandria and Incursor can be unlocked by completing the Her Reasons Hero Quest at Colony Iota. Players can also keep rushing towards Colony Iota without fighting Agnian soldiers, but doing this will result in a stricter battle during the quest.

Defiant Triton

Soulhacker

Triton and Soulhacker can be unlocked by completing the Doing It My Way Hero Quest in Chapter 5 at Colony 15. The ‘?’ mark in the Hargan Point Camp of the Erythia Sea will take the players to Colony 15.

Wrathfist Ghondor

Martial Artist

Ghondor and Martial Artist can be unlocked by completing Chapter 5.

Smoldering Cammuravi

Cammuravi and Seraph can be unlocked by completing the A Twist of Fate Hero Quest at Colony Omega in Chapter 6. However, the players must complete Side Story: Mio before completing the Hero Quest.

No 7 Seigiri

Machine Assassin

First, players must complete the Imminent Illusions quest in Chapter 4. Then, in Colony 4, fans must complete several side quests until the Severed Connection quest is unlocked. After completing that, players must work through the Writer’s Block quest in the city area. Finally, Seigiri and the Machine Assassin class can be acquired by completing the Inhumanity Hero Quest in Chapter 6 at Colony Omega.

Other Attacker Heroes and Classes

Apart from the nine unlockable Attacker Heroes and classes detailed above,three additional Attacker classes belong to two of the main Heroes and one post-game unlockable hero.

Swordfighter

The Swordfighter class can be unlocked by completing The Hillside Hulk quest in Chapter 2.

The Ogre class can be unlocked by completing the Hillside Hulk quest in Chapter 2.

After completing the main story, Melia and the Royal Summoner class can be unlocked after completing a recruitment quest at the Keeves Castle.

Which Classes Are Best?

Of the 12 available Attacker classes, some stand out from the rest due to their abilities and skills.Here are three choices in particular that are highly recommended for any party.

Swordfighter is one of the most vital Attacker classes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It is the default offensive option that belongs to the main hero, Noah, and deals considerable damage to the enemies on the battlefield in any situation.
