Therefore, magic and iron in the game’s world have very specific uses, advantages and disadvantages for each participating faction, and it’s hard to create salt with magic for example. Each of the main characters is also an adult, so they have their own logical and emotional sides when making a choice based on their position in society. In normal JRPGs, the player doesn’t really think much about the pre-established story progression, but in this game, each decision and dialogue choice – however simplistic – can have multiple correct perspectives and Obisidian-level consequences.Triangle Strategy was first released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch back in March and has amassed many favorable reviews since launch, with many players praising the head-turning choice system and how it brought many twists and turns to the story. The game was later ported to PC in October and is now being sold for $35.99 on Steam, while the deluxe edition containing a mini digital artbook is being sold for $38.99.

Various Daylife is an adventure and daily life game from the same team who worked on Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default and is produced by Tomoya Asano, the same producer of Triangle Strategy and the other aforementioned games. The game features over 20 job classes and more than 100 types of activities, as well as a simplified battle system with an emphasis on how these jobs interact together in battle.
