Robert Downey Jr And Jude Law Shared More Than A Bromance
The word ‘bromance’ comes readily to mind when one thinks of the chemistry between Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Much like their protagonists Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, the two celebrities hit it off like a house on fire and were integral to the film and its sequel doing great business at the box office. Law though, believed that the word ‘bromance’ did not do justice to the relationship he shared with his co-star. Downey Jr further elaborated on this and why their partnership worked, to theDaily Echo.
“People talk about chemistry, but what does that really mean? We were just having lunch trying to figure it out, and we’re really grateful it comes across that way. We work really hard, and we have respect for each other. Certain of us have been in sequels that sucked, and we wanted to try and avoid those pitfalls.”

The Judgestar added that while Guy Ritchie’s modernized and stylish take on the Arthur Conan Doyle classic was a breath of fresh air, he believed that the richness of the characters and the various actors who have portrayed them over the years were also great reference points to develop on.
