The latest intel report inHelldivers 2might be a hint that the Terminids are finally taking their revenge. Earlier this month, the community destroyed a Terminid Supercolony on Meridia using Dark Fluid and now, players are using Hive Breaker Drill to destroy Terminid nurseries on Hellmire, Nivel 43, Estanu, Crimsica, and Fori Prime. Obviously, the Terminid faction will retaliate and we’re convinced they have begun their revenge operation.

The intel report revealed that high levels of interstellar spore emissions have been observed on the Terminid planets that are being liberated. Super Earth claims that “it is unlikely to cause any long-term problems,” but it will definitely backfire in the future. Players should prepare themselves for new threats as Terminid units might evolve into something more terrifying.
Helldivers 2players might be making a mistake by destroying Terminid nurseries
The current Major Order has ordered players to reduce the Terminid population on Hellmire, Nivel 43, Estanu, Crimsica, and Fori Prime to make space for citizen settlement. Super Earth has provided players with a new Hive Break Drill to destroy Terminid nurseries but this decision may cause more destruction in the future. An Intel Report has revealed that “abnormally high levels of interstellar spore emissions” have been observed on the planets on which Helldivers are currently liberating. Players on ther/Helldivers2subreddit strongly believe that something much worse is waiting for them.

“I’m trying this when I get home”: Helldivers Have Found Out the Most Creative Way to Deal With Those Annoying Chargers
While Super Earth believes that this has no consequences, it is quite obvious where this is heading. In the past, we’ve seen how Super Earth’s plans have caused mutations within the Terminid faction and now once again, destroying the nurseries will have the opposite effect.
Are Hive-Lords coming toHelldivers 2?
It was quite strange to see that Hive-Lords weren’t a part of the Terminid faction inHelldivers 2since these massive, terrifying units were quite active in the first game. Hive-Lords’ skeletons were found scattered on Terminid planets and since then, players have been expecting to see them in the game at one point. Hive-Lords might be finally coming to the game as many theories suggest that the Hive Break Drill has forced these units to come out of hiding.
“I want to make it clear…”: Helldivers 2 May Be Deserving of all the Praise Right Now, but Johan Pilestedt Is Sick of it Being Directed at Him
Some strange noises can be heard from boreholes on Terminind planetsand players believe it is Hive-Lords since they mostly navigate under the ground, creating tunnels for other Terminid units. It can be tricky to defeat these units but our bold Helldivers fear nothing.
Helldivers 2is available on Windows and PlayStation 5.
