Monster Hunter: Worldhas always had an incredibly detailed world, fantastic creatures, and a supportive and passionate player base, Today almost a year after the game’s release we got a special developerupdatefrom Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto: The Witcher 3’s Geralt of Rivia is looking to slay some new monsters.
Both Capcom and CD Projekt Red worked to make Geralt feel at-home in theMonster Hunteruniverse. This includes bringing new RPG elements that are unique toThe Witcher 3: Wild HuntintoMonster Hunter: World. We don’t know what these are yet, but for all we know, it could be something akin to signs, or even silver-bladed weapons for special monsters.
While Geralt’s grim and rugged personality isn’t the first thing you’d imagine in the extremely-positive world ofMonster Hunter, Capcom has worked with the voice actors who play Geralt of Rivia in several versions of the game. We’ll be getting that classicly-raspy version of Geralt from the English version, but also the original voice actors from the French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese versions of the game.
Oh and they’re also having the voice actors track inMonster Hunterlanguage too.
There were also some new monsters unveiled during the announcement including Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth who features a unique furied state that can be unlocked by meeting certain conditions before the beast sheds its gold armor. If you manage to fulfill these requirements, you’ll also gain access to some unique rewards. Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth comes with new never-before-seen attacks. Arch-tempered Nergigante is also coming in Spring 2019 as the last major new content update planned for the base version of the game.
Equally excitingnews came from the announcement ofMonster Hunter: World’s upcoming DLC “Iceborne,“which is scheduled to release in Autumn of 2019.
you’re able to check out the developer update stream in its entirety below. Tsujimoto also promised that these updates were also being worked on for the PC version of the game and will be released at a later time.
