The Penguin‘s finale is sure to have a lot of explosive moments, given where the characters were left off in the last episode. Victor is still missing in action, and it is likely that Francis is going to find out that Oswald is responsible for the death of her other children. Sofia is going to use these two people to make The Penguin choose, and perhaps even cripple his confidence in a bid to take it down.
The Penguin managed to tear down the Maroni and Gigante families, with little consequence so far. The narrative demands that The Penguin sacrifice something for each of his victories so that they can feel earned and also set up his villain arc for the upcoming installments in the franchise.
Sofia Maroni is going to make Oswald choose between his mother and Victor
Francis had told Oswald in an earlier episode that if it ever comes down to a point where she cannot be lucid anymore, Oswald will need to kill her. This could be a foreshadowing of what’s to come, as The Penguin might find himself in a position where he has to kill his mother. However, as hard as that choice is going to be for the character, Sofia could make it infinitely worse with having Oswald choose between Victor and Francis.

Oswald has managed to develop quite a relationship with Victor, appreciating all that he does for Oswald’s operation, while also providing him with personal advice. Victor and Francis could be a hard choice, and it would also seem that Oswald would lean towards protecting his mother. However, he could see that Victor has more of a place in his operation, while his mother might not let him choose her over Victor. This would not only be a brilliant move by Sofia but would also prove her worth as an antagonist.
Is Batman going to make a cameo inThe Penguin?
Fans have been wondering howThe Penguinis going to top its already brilliant season, and there seems to be a potent case for a big cameo as the show closes out, hinting at the next installment of the film. Batman, perhaps not in a speaking role, might appear in the tail end of the show, or show up indirectly through newspaper or television reports.

The show could also tease new characters that might lead into the sequel toThe Batman, which is hotly anticipated after the the brilliant story telling of The Penguin.
