The Outlast Trialswill have you second guessing your sanity as you attempt to complete trial after trial. Each trial getsprogressively more difficultthe further you get. Not only are the enemies tougher, but finding the items necessary to complete each task will be tougher.

With the new v1.0 update released March 5th, you’ll receive a variety of changes, including a completely new map. The Toy Factory hasone trial with two MK-Challenges. The trial given to you through the update is called Pervert The Futterman, and it is not for the weak of heart.

The Pervert The Futterman Trial
In this new trial, you are given the perilous mission todefeat Pervert The Futterman. You must prevent him from being able to brainwash the kids through secret messages and innuendo. You must expose, humiliate, and kill Pervert The Futterman.
This trial will be available in the terminal, 3rd from the bottom in theCore Therapy Program Genesis. Keep in mind thatplaying with friendswill make this a lot easier. Once the trial is selected, go into one of the trial pods then sit in one of the brown strapped chairs. On the TV, it will give you information on what your objective is. After the gas disperses, you will see flashes of horrific toy factory memories, including a lot of bloody and exploding toys.
Infiltrate The Toy Factory
After entering the map, straight ahead there will be 2 TVs and if you watch, it will tell you to control your impulses. Heading to your right, you will find somelockpicks as well as an antidote. Search around the immediate area for various useful items.Sliding may be usefulto escape enemies through low hanging doors.
When you’re done,bash the boarded doorway to Security. Avoid the slight trap next to the door, with the duck toy holding TNT by using the bottle from the dead guy to the left of the door and throwing it at the toy. Here, you will find some camera batteries in the cupboard.
Walking out of security,veer to your left and go through the fenceand the door will tell you the key is in the basement. Go to your left and down the hall, then turn right. Head down the short steps and to your right will be a door you’ll need to lift.
When inside, go through the door to your right which you may have to bash in. Once through, go straight ahead and through the door to your left. Keep an eye out for traps and remember, if you step on glass or walk through any noisy traps,it will attract the attention of nearby enemies.
When you walk through the door, go through the door to your left, and you’ll find a couple of TVs with a bloody pallet. Behind this pallet will be a trash compactor and you’ll see a hand reaching out. You are advised tofill the compactorand find the key inside. Look for boxes and other garbage to put inside the compactor through the top door.
There will beone box on the conveyor beltto the left of the compactor. Go back the way you came but watch out for enemies. Take a left outside the door with the trash compactor, head through the next door straight ahead, picking up any items you find along the way. Around the corner to your right will be another box of trash.
The door may close if you go inside again, so you’ll want to take the trash and put it on the conveyor belt outside the room it’s needed in. You will then go look for thelast piece of garbage. You should have a marker on your screen showing you where to find the final piece of trash.
It will be located to the left outside the compactor room around the spot you found the first piece of trash.Utilize bottles to distract enemiesand get them out of the room you’re about to retrieve the key from. When the trash is done compacting, it will open, and you’re able to search for the key within the bloodied mess.
Head back to the exit, lift the door, and go to the entrance of the facility. When you come back out, be cautious as there will bea large enemy nearby. Try to stealthily use the key on the door and run through before he attacks you.
Reach The Production Line
Once you’re finally inside, you must reach the production line. From the front door, you will run straight, then veer to your right, then left.Go straight down that hallwaythrough the doorway that says Factory. There will be a door on your left past the green lockers, the 2nd door down this hallway, which will be a bathroom.
Go all the way through the bathroom and through the door straight ahead from the one you entered to escape any enemies that are looking for you. Exiting the bathroom, go to your right, and you’ll see thedouble doors leading to Production Line A. Entering that room will complete that checkpoint.

Start The Production Line
You will see the mission marker to your left and once you interact with it bypressing the button, you will need to unlock the security system by finding keys.
Unlock Security System
All the keys in this trial should be on the top floor. Starting in the room where you pressed the button, go to the left of that and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, go straight through the doorway beyond a few steps. Control Room A will be therealong with a key.Bring that down to the wax input machine across from the room with the button.
Find Boxes In Storage
You will nowneed to find box A-967which will be back up the stairs and to your sharp right. You’ll find storage and once inside, check the shelves for this box. Bring it back down to the wax input machine and place it on the conveyor belt.
Head into theDolls Assembly door to the left of Assembly Line A, and you’ll find the B Erotic Novelties Input. While the sign will say the key is in Control Room B, it is actually in the infirmary across the hall from Control Room B.
You will alsoneed storage box B-923located in the storage room. To find Control Room B, you will have to make the jump next to Control Room A. Control Room B will be on your right, walk all the way through it, and you’ll come to another door. Through this door you will find the infirmary across the hall.
Head back through Control Room B and make the long jump to your right. Jump through the window on your right, and it will tell you the key is in the showers. To find the showers, go through the dooron your right in Control Room Cthen veer to your left. Go straight, then take a right.
You’ll come to the infirmary, and you’ll want to take a left. Follow the path then go through the doors up the short stairs on your right. Take the second door on your left. Don’t forget todisarm any trap next to the doorwhen you enter the room.
If you can’t find the key in this room, you might have to circle the hall andenter the bathroom differently. Once you have the key, head to the storage room to find the box before returning to the Dolls Assembly.
Place the box on the conveyor belt, then go through the door to the right of B. Wait for the body to come out of B andfollow the track to C. Head back to storage and grab box C-13. Place it on the conveyor belt, then go through the door to wait for the body at the back door of C.
Reroute Production Line
Follow the body and once it stops, you will need to crank the lever to the left. When you’re done cranking,follow the bodyas it moves along the track toward the incinerator.
Burn The Sex Toy
The next step will be to burn the body. You’ll have to find the Surveillance Room, so you can press the button and put the body up in flames. Go back out the door you entered from and head up the ramp to your left. You’ll come to thesurveillance door to your rightand the button will be on the far left side of the room against the wall. The other button will be at the opposite end of the room. Loot the room which is filled with supplies.
Returning to the incinerator, you will need to open the pressure valve to get it to work.Follow the pipe from the incinerator, you’ll go through another door you must lift to the right of the pump, and you’ll follow the pipe to a storage room.
When you enter the storage room, there will be a door across from you that an enemy may break into. There are a few places to hide in this room, including 2 lockers and under a desk. Wait for him to leave, then continue following the pipe.Start pumping the furnace, and stay aware of your surroundings as enemies may be charging at you at this point.
Return To Shuttle
Your final objective is to return to the shuttle and exit the trial. To the left of the furnace will be a door you may use to find the exit. Out this door, go up the stairs to your left, and follow the exit signs. There will be a few enemies outside you’ll need to dodge to get to the shuttle.Hit the button, then enter the shuttle pod.
For completing this trial, you will receive multiple customizations for your room, including a trophy. You will receive around1500 XP, 500 cash, customizations, and 2 release tokens.
