It’s been two years since the launch of Nintendo Switch, and what better way to celebrate then tribute to (arguably) the console’s best game? And that is exactly what fans are doing, sharing some pretty amazing Disney-like art ofThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildcrossed withTwilight Princess.
Resurfaced earlier today onThe Legend of Zelda’s official subreddit, someone shared some art from Oslo-based artist Malin Fatch:
I finished Breath of the wild… What do I do now? 😢 This was drawn around the time botw was shown at E3 in 2016! I was super excited then, and I’m glad the game lived up to the hype! #zelda #breathofthewild #botw #fanart #link #wolflink

The image merges both Heroes of Time from bothBreath of the WildandTwilight Princessas they lounge on a boulder. The artstyle is definitely a deviation from the more light aesthetic ofBotWand darker elements ofTwilight Princess. Instead, I’m catching closer vibes to modern Disney, while still distinct on its own.
And I suppose that should be a surprise – Falch has covered a ton of other styles on her DeviantArt, including plays onBig Hero 6andHow to Train Your Dragon.According to her Instagram page, she was inspired to draw this ahead of even playing the game given how stunning the initial trailer was. In fact, she created some more art out the gate aroundThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild:
