UPDATE:Since publishing this article,The Last of Us Part I Remakehas been confirmed via aPlayStation Direct leak. The title will be coming to PlayStation 5 on September 2nd, followed by a PC release at a later date.
The Last of Us Remakemight not be a PlayStation exclusive title as previously thought, as an industry insider claims the rumoured title will be hitting both PC and PS5 this September.
Although Naughty Dog is yet to announce a remake ofThe Last of Us, it’s slowly becoming the worst kept secret in gaming. Previously,Jeff Grubbhad gone on record to state that he believes the remake will launch this holiday season, whilst fellow insiderTom Hendersonalso believes a fall 2022 release is likely.
With Sony dedicated to bringing their biggest exclusives to PC, it should come as no surprise thatThe Last of Us Remakewould be included in the huge lineup. Recent years have seen the likes ofGod of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone,and more made available via Steam.
