The dynamic between Daredevil and Kingpin has been set in stone ever since they appeared together in the comics for the very first time. A superhero desperate to clean up his city and a mob boss who, oddly enough, has the same goal.

Their rivalry isn’t one of good and evil but lies in the moral complexities of their life missions. Where one wants to make good happen in their city by exterminating the bad, the other wants the bad to implode within itself, destroying everything horrid by getting his own hands dirty.

While this moral battle has been one of the most interesting parts of Charlie Cox’s series, its upcoming reboot may bring about a story much more interesting than the 2015 masterpiece. One that would force these two sides of the same coin to become one against a common enemy.

Daredevil: Born AgainMay Come With An Expected Surprise

It is expected thatDaredevil: Born Againwill bring several very interesting approaches to the world that fans have grown to love over the years. However, one can always count on this series to deliver the unexpected. During a recent interview withThe Comic Circus, Alex Perez revealed a lot of information about anticipated Marvel projects.

He specifically talked aboutCharlie Cox’sseries, revealing exactly what fans can expect from the show, even unveiling the main antagonists for the series. It is safe to say that fans did not assume this. Starting off, he revealed that the Earth 616 villain, Muse, will take center stage as the driving force of the series. He will certainly be an interesting villain, considering just how dark his executions are.

This was not all Perez revealed, as he mentioned that not only will Muse be an antagonist to Matt Murdock, but he will also be a very powerful adversary to Vincent D’Onofrio’s King Pin.

Daredevil and Kingpin vs. Muse?

If Daredevil and Kingpin have a common enemy, there is a very high likelihood that they could potentially team up. When it comes to Muse, his mental sanity is constantly put into question, considering just how gruesome his kills are. As his name suggests, he is an artist whose preferred medium happens to be blood and dead bodies.

There are several different approaches thatDaredevil: Born Againcan take to execute the surprising partnership. However, the one that would make the most sense would be throughVanessa. Wilson Fisk only has one weakness; his wife, who also happens to be an art dealer. Knowing her affiliation with the art world, it would not be surprising if Muse targeted her at one point in the story.

“But now it’s a lot”: Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again Update Will Bring Tears to Your Eyes if You’re a Fan of the Netflix Series

Knowing just how sensitive Fisk is about his wife, the man attacking or targeting her could easily make him want to work with Matt Murdock, even though they have had their differences. It is safe to say that such a plot would be one of the most interesting ones in the entire series, especially with how Murdock and Fisk left their ‘relationship’ by the end of the original show.
