AnotherXboxGames Showcase is in the books, and it might have just been the best one yet. That’s according to fans around the world, anyway.
The showcase kicked off with a glimpse at the nextCall of Dutygame, Black Ops 6. Arriving on October 25th for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, Black Ops 6 takes fans back to the early 90s as a shadowy force has infiltrated the U.S. government, forcing players to go rogue for the very first time. Featuring a compelling single-player campaign, an innovative new multiplayer, and the ever-loved round-based zombies, Call of Duty is back with a bang.

Other notable highlights included the announcement of Doom: The Dark Ages, which is a prequel to 2016’s Doom; Gears of War: E-Day, the next mainline game in the Gears of War universe which is set 14 years before the events of Gears of War; a new trailer and confirmed November 19 release date for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and much, much more.
With so many massive announcements, first looks, and epic trailers, Xbox fans are calling yesterday’s showcase one of the best they’ve ever seen.
Xbox Just Hit It Out Of The Park With Yesterday’s Gigantic Showcase
Shortly after yesterday’s Xbox Games Showcase came to an end, fans took to social media to call it “the best Xbox Games Showcase in years,” with some fans even calling it “the best showcase ever.”
If you didn’t catch yesterday’s Showcase, Xbox released a handy graphic that shows all of the games that were included in the event. Avowed, Gears of War: E-Day, Doom: The Dark Ages, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, State of Decay 3, Fable, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard were just some of the heavy hitters that appeared during the showcase.
While there was a monumental line-up of games featured, some fans took issue with the lack of release dates for many of the titles. “Very frustrating that they still haven’t given dates for their 2024 games though,“one user said on X(formerly Twitter). But they did go on to state that the show was still a 9/10 for them.
But the lack of release dates wasn’t enough to deter fans from calling it the best showcase in a long time. “That legit was the best Xbox showcase they’ve had in a LONG while. Like, it was just banger after banger,” YouTuberMightyKeef said on X.
