Of the many Shrines scattered around the world ofThe Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, many of them will utilize unique Zonai devices to offer players more creativity when trying to solve the puzzles within. These different devices will take the mechanics of the game you think you know and help you see them in a new way.

The Makasura Shrine utilizes a stabilizer-type Zonai device that you can use to make this stand upright quickly. This can be used to make a path to a higher-up area, or a catapult to launch small objects, or even Link himself.
Makasura Shrine Location
The Makasura Shrine islocated northeast of West Necluda and south of Lanayru Wetlands. This Shrine islocated ontop of a hill along the main roadinto the nearby townwhen coming from the West. Getting up there will require a bit of climbing but can easily be done with base stamina.

Solving Makasura Shrine
Upon entering the Shrine, the first room will be mostly empty. Walktowards the back wall and use Ascend to jump up and through the overhanging partof the platform above. Within the next room will be one of the stabilizer-type devices attached to some metal railing. Activating the device will make it balance upright and make the metal railing stand straight.Climb to the top of the metal railing and jump off to use your gliderand glider over the gap and towards the other side of the room.
Now in the next room, you’ll see a large gap ahead of you to the end of the Shrine, a gated area to your right, and a halfway gated area to your left. Use aStabilizerand metal railing in the same way you just saw it to be able to climb overthe railing to the left side, jumping over and into the other side. In here, you’ll find a small orb you need to get back to the other side, and now it’s time to build a catapult. There will be another metal railing piece with a semi-sphere at the end. Placeone of the stabilizers on the other end, fusing it and placing the orb in the semi-sphere. Activate the device tolaunch the orb over to the other side, then stand there yourself to be launched back to the other side, activating the device with an arrow.
Now back in the main area, place the orb in the divot to get access to more parts. You’ll now need to build a much longer catapult in order to launch Link across the wide gap. On the “L” shaped piece,place the stabilizer at the end of the long end,with thecatapult piece on the end of the smaller curved piece. From here, stand in the semi-sphere andactivate the device with an arrow,launching Link across the gap, utilizing your paraglider to land safely. Interact with the Shrine to trigger the cutscene andreceive your Light Of Blessing.
