Last week, we finally saw the new update forGhost of Tsushimago live. Sucker Punch had previously talked about their plans to bring thenew cooperative game mode calledLegendsto the title later in 2020 and after an anticipating wait for fans, Friday, October 16update 1.1took place bringing with it a New Game+ mode and co-op functionality. Some other little nugget of news that may getGhost of Tsushimalovers heart racing and that’s a new job listing that could mean that the studio isn’t quite done with its new IP.
A job opening onSucker Punch’s websitehints that a sequel or new experience may be on the way for the award-winning title. The studio states that they are looking to hire a new narrative writer, with a specific requirement honed in on a “desire to write stories set in feudal Japan.” and “knowledge of feudal Japan history.” This does seem likely thatGhost of Tsushimais in line for a possible sequel or hopefully, at the very least, some new content that could include more DLC or maybe even a separate standalone game set in the same world. It would, of course, make absolute sense that the studio would want to continue its success with the title and feed into the need for hungry fans who want more of its beautiful and lush Japanese environments.

Hopefully, we will hear more about what Sucker Punch’s plans are in time and as always, we will keep you up to date on any news regardingGhost of Tsushima.
