My Hero Academia: 8 Best Elemental Quirks, Ranked
Here are 8 Elemental Quirks that bring some of the most explosive and versatile battles in My Hero Academia.
This list will cover a dozen ofthe strongest female charactersinMy Hero Academia, and what makes them special.

12Momo Yaoyorozu - “Creati”
Quirk: Creation
Momo Yaoyorozu, often referred to by her hero name Creati, makes up for her lack of physical strength with intelligence and creativity. Momo’s quirk, Creation, allows her to create objects using her fat cells, ranging from small projectiles to a giant canon.
Momo thrived during the Hero Academy’s Quirk Apprehension Test, finishing first among all students and beating out more physically capable quirk users like Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo. When she was paired with a less-than-ideal partner in Minoru Minetaduring the Battle Trial, Momo made the best of each moment and never faltered.

Why Momo makes this list is due to her ability to adapt and pivot on a plan when the time calls for it, utilizing her quick-thinking. There’s a reason she’s a tutor to many of her classmates, and her wisdom translates perfectly from the pages of a book to a dire moment in a fight.
11Uraraka Ochako - “Uravity”
Quirk: Zero Gravity
Another one of Class 1-A’s finest students, Uraraka Ochako leads more into the emotionally mature side of her classmates. Despite her bubbly personality and laid-back attitude, the hero known as Uravity came from an upbringing that helped shape her inner strength.
Ochako didn’t have much growing up, as her parents were both working-class adults trying to make ends meet.As she developed her own lifeat the Hero Academy, that past life showed up from time to time as she became stingy with her money, often choosing to save over spend.

Her quirk, Zero Gravity, has proven to not only be a power that is versatile in both attack and defense, but can support her allies as well. What she lacks in battle IQ, Ochako more than makes up for it with critical decision-making and combining her powers with other quirks for a solid 1-2 punch.
10Himiko Toga
Quirk: Transform
This list wasn’t going to include just the heroes ofMy Hero Academia, as Himiko Toga is one ofthe more capable villainsin the series. Her quirk, Transform, isn’t the only dangerous thing, as Toga is a sadist that prides herself in hurting others.
In hand-to-hand combat, Toga is extremely fast and nimble, but her strength puts her near the top of the League of Villains as a major threat. Wielding a knife, Toga’s power relies on drawing blood, which she uses to transform herself into the person she wounded.

From a young age, Toga has always been perceived as creepy due to her unusual appearance and sharp teeth. Her abandonment led to some deep, emotional and psychological issues, which helped the League of Villains recruit her and use her quirk for their treachery.
9Nejire Hado - “Nejire Chan”
Quirk: Wave Motion
Nejire Hado, often referred to by others as Nejire Chan, is a remarkable student that quickly rose up the ranks as a pro hero. Following her graduation after The Final War, Nejire became the number-seven ranked pro hero, placing her among the strongest inMy Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia: 6 Strongest Awakenings, Ranked
Here are the most powerful awakenings in My Hero Academia, ranked and explained.
Her quirk, Wave Motion, allows her to spend powerful spirals of energy at anything she targets, which comes in hand with both attack and support. During the Shie Hassaikai Arc, Nejire single-handedly took down two quirk users that used Gigantification with just one shot of her Wave Motion.
Though many of her fellow students are enamored by her beauty, Nejire’s most admirable part is her curiosity in life. Her insatiable desire to learn new things and gather information has led Nejire to understand the differences between quirks, which has helped her in lengthy battles against tough villains.
8Nemuri Kayama - “Midnight”
Quirk: Somnambulist
While Nemuri Kayama can be flirtatious and playful with her fellow teachers and students, her wits in battle make her one of the Hero Academy’s most exceptional fighters. Using her quirk, Somnambulist, Midnight can exude a powerful and intoxicating mist that puts people to sleep.
Sometimes, it isn’t about how hard you can hit, but how you react in the heat of a battle. In Midnight’s case, her quirk application skills are second to none, and she’s never hesitant to jump into a fight and use her Somnambulist to draw down the enemies' defenses while encouraging her allies.
If that wasn’t enough, Midnight also has an array of different weapons to pay homage to her dominatrix attire and personality. She uses her Whips of Love to constrain her opponents, while her pair of Feather Fans help spread the toxin over long distances, covering a wider range on the battlefield.
7Yu Takeyama - “Mt. Lady”
Quirk: Gigantification
Speaking of Gigantification, Mt. Lady possesses this powerful quirk and has all the tools in her arsenal to be one of the best pro heroes in the world. In fact, she evolved so much as a fighter, that Yu Takeyama went from the number-23 pro hero all the way to the top three.
In her giant form,Mt. Lady is capable of fighting large enemieson her own, taking full advantage of increases in both her physical strength and endurance. In comedic fashion, Mt. Lady also uses the art of seduction to drop the enemies' alert, before pummeling them with her power Canyon Cannon.
Like many powerful and confident characters inMy Hero Academia, Mt. Lady has quite the ego that constantly sends her off on tangents. She also started off in more of a comedy role at the start of the series, but became more serious about her approach to protecting the city once All Might retired.
6Ryuko Tatsuma - “Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu”
Quirk: Dragon
Better known as the Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu, Ryuko Tatsuma has one of the most unique quirks among the pro heroes. Dragon leaves nothing to the imagination, as it allows Ryuko to transform into a powerful dragon, increasing her power tenfold.
Not only does her strength and endurance go through the roof, Ryuko also has sharp claws that can easily tear flesh, and wings to fly across large areas in a pinch. Add in that she’s one of the most attentive heroes and can create a new plan in seconds, it’s no surprise that Ryuko quickly rose to the top-ten among all pro heroes.
Her sheer power is relied on heavily during the Liberation Army Arc, as the likes of Endeavor and Midoriya trust her commitment in battle. Fighting alongside some of the best, Ryuko’s fierce attitude is what propels her into a fight, and she remains someone her allies can trust to get the job done.
5Kaina Tsutsumi - “Lady Nagant”
Quirk: Rifle
Lady Nagant was first introduced as an antagonist with the sole mission to take down Midoriya. What we didn’t know at the time was that her arm was being twisted by All For One, and any act of rebellion could lead to her demise.
Kaina Tsutsumi is as disciplined as they come, and she’ll focus all of her efforts on a target until the mission is complete. Her nefarious ways ended her in prison, but thanks to a jailbreak prompted byAll For One, her services were once again utilized for evil.
My Hero Academia: 6 Simple Quirks, Ranked
Here are six simple quirks that reveal the true essence of heroism.
Using her Rifle quirk, Lady Nagant can bring out a rifle from her right elbow, allowing her to use pinpoint precision to fire off multiple rounds at any target. Her cold demeanor allowed Lady Nagant to concentrate, and she almost took down Midoriya without any help.
Quirk: Rewind
It may seem odd to have such a young and unassuming character so high on this list, considering there isn’t much on the outside. She’s small, doesn’t have much physical strength, and lacks awareness and battle IQ to be relied upon in a fight.
Where her power comes through his in her quirk, known as Rewind. Using the simple touch of her hand, Eri can rewind a target back to a previous state, which can help with healing injuries, restoring a quirk to its original form, and making someone younger.
The quirk is so powerful that it was sought after by Overhaul, a despicable villain that held little regard for Eri’s well-being. The downside to the Rewind quirk is that if it’s used for too long, it can ultimately de-age someone to the point of not existing, like we saw Eri do to her own father.
3Rumi Usagiyama - “Rabbit Hero: Mirko”
Quirk: Rabbit
If you want to look for the female counterpart toBakugo’s character, look no further than Rumi Usagiyama — the Rabbit Hero: Mirko. She’s just as fierce, egotistical, and foul-mouthed, and she can back up every word with her intense combat style.
She showcased just how brutal she can be during Paranormal Liberation War Arc when she went head-to-head with multiple high-end Nomus. While many would crumble in fear at the sight of just one of these beasts, Mirko appeared excited as she rushed into battle, and held her own while fighting them.
Against Tomura, Mirko is absolutely relentless and is fighting him at all costs, going so far as to sacrifice her own body for the greater good. Despite having her prosthetic arm torn off, and ripping off her other arm to break free of Tomura’s grasp, she doesn’t hesitate to charge him again and uses her legs to land an attack.
