Austin most notably prepared a 30 seconds pop quiz for Rhodes, asking him to pick the best among various answers and categories. What do you all think? Personally speaking I’d sayBOTWis objectively the better game. Not because it’s bigger, newer or prettier, but rather how because of how it had bigger stakes against it.OOTrevolutionized gaming and did a lot for the media like popularizing lock-on systems. However,BOTWgoes eve deeper and deconstructs game design and puzzle solving on a very low level, to the point that playingBOTWas someone who doesn’t know games much won’t teach you any of the common sense game design used in every other game. At the end of the day though, both games are too different to be compared, and they can be both the best game in the series.
Nintendo first announced the sequel toThe Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wildback at E3 2019, and seeing Nintendo’s track record when it comes to sequels and learning from past mistakes, it’s sure to be an incredible adventure worth the wait. The game will be out sometime in 2023 on Nintendo Switch.
