Sony has made another move on the battle against the players of Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.

Sony decided to forbid the purchase of the title in more than 170 countries. To this, the company added the recently released PC version ofGhost of Tsushima. After all this, Sony has just completely deleted the pages of both games from the Valve platform in those countries.

Sony Coming Back With Yet Another Big Attack

Helldivers 2‘s entire communitywas against the Sony decision, with review-bombing, refunds, and any kind of complaint imaginable. This resulted in the company backing the decision, and the players celebrated the win. The owners of PlayStation swiftly overshadowed this by forbidding the acquisition of both the Arrowhead Game Studios title andGhost of Tsushimaon Steamacross over 170 countries.

Today, a new post confirmed that these regions not only prohibit the acquisition of the game but also result in the complete disappearance of the game’s page from the Valve platform, preventing any search functionality.

Initially, Sony claimed that Valve was responsible for resolving this issue; however, it was later revealed that Sony intentionally caused this issue by restricting these titles’ availability to more than 170 countries. The response to X is prompting users to question the company’s decision to restrict access to these games, suggesting a lack of concern for potential players.

Unconfirmed rumors propose that PlayStation will unveil a new showcase presentation this month. This event could introduce new gameplay and trailers for the upcoming exclusive titles that will be released in 2025, likeMarvel’s Wolverineand a new IP from Naughty Dog, the creators ofThe Last of UsandUncharted. Sony has already confirmed that there will be big games next year.
