The Shrine Room key is a must-have item during the quest A House Divided inStarfield:Shattered Space. If you haven’t reached this part yet, you should know that it’s a side mission, so it’s not mandatory, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for an extra adventure.

To start the quest A House Divided and eventually find the Shrine Room key you’re looking for, head to the front of the Halls of Obedience in Dazra City. Here, you’ll need to talk to an NPC named Qisrani. After a little chat with her, you’ll understand that she needs help.
During your conversation, Qisrani will mention her missing cousin, Ukaru, who came to her a week ago with concerns about missing shipments. After he became worried that someone was selling stolen goods to the enemy, she assigned him to investigate the incident and gather more evidence.
However, she will mention that her suspicions grew after Ukaru didn’t return, and, although she wanted to investigate, she couldn’t due to her connections to the Noble Houses. This is where you come in. If you agree to help her, you’ll need to investigate what happened to her cousin Ukaru and the missing shipments.
How to Find the Shrine Room Key
As you progress through the A House Divided quest, you will eventually learn that Onamide, the troublemaker who has been trying to kill you from the start, is hiding in the locked Shrine Room. All you need to do is find the key, enter the Shrine Room, and confront him.

The quest will guide you but remember that the Shrine Room where Onamide is hiding is located in Jandar’s Rest. Also, be aware that there are many bad guys inside, so make sureyou have enough ammunitionfor your weapons.
To find the Shrine Room key, simply loot it off of one of the Va’ruun Zealot Captains found in that area. Once you do this, you’re able to start talking to him by opening the locked door.
