Like many resources in the game, Stimulants can be crafted, and this will usually be your primary method of gathering it. However, crafting the resource can be complicated as it requires you to travel to specific planets.

After scanning the plant, create a Greenhouse using the builder mode. ensure you have the necessary materials beforehand. You also need to have at least skill level 1 in Botany, which should already be doneif you are not at the very beginning of your journeyinStarfield.
Go to the Greenhouse’s Control Console and select Stimulant as the desired resource for production. You only need one Water per Stimulant for production, so crafting shouldn’t be a hassle. Build a Water Extractor nearby, which will ensure you aren’t low on the ingredient.

Apart from crafting, you can buy Stimulants from vendors such as Fast Hoang in Valo or Clint De Haven in Alpha Centauri. Fauna like Ankylosaurus and Brightcage also dropped the resource. Upon completing certain missions, you get Stimulants as a reward, but crafting will remain the best method if you are looking to farm them on a large scale.
