The Further Into The Unknown is the continuation of theInto the Unknown questinStarfieldwhere you agree to help Vladimirlook for the source of the anomaly. You collaborate withAndrejato find three artifacts, which now seem to pique Vladimir’s interest in them.

This quest requires that youtravel to two planets in search of two additional artifacts. While this is a simple quest, be prepared for a fair bit of combat as well. Continue reading for a detailed walkthrough.

Starting The Quest

To begin the “Further Into the Unknown” quest, start by speaking to Vladimir,who will give you details on yet another artifact that he is after. He informs you about the challenges that the Eye has been facing in trying to locate this artifact in particular.

After speaking to Vladimir, you’ll be updated with two objectives,directing that you travel to two separate planets. you may pursue either of the two objectives in any order you wish. Consider gaining as much information as you can from Vladimir through the available dialogue options before proceeding with your next objectives.

Talk To Vladimir in Starfield during Further Into The Unknown Quest

Go To Siruis III-A

Having spoken to Vladimir, open themissions menu to travelto Sirius III-A. The planet has freezing temperatures, and you’re going to be taking on a bunch of Ecliptics before making your way through the abandoned mine.

Find The Artifact On Sirius III-A

After you reach the abandoned mine on Sirius III-A, you’ll need tolook for a switch that opens the entrance to the mine. The switch islocated on a raised platform next to the red door. You’ll also need to deal with the enemies trying to impede your progress.

Enter the mine and make your way through the underground caves whiletaking out any enemies hiding in the dark. Don’t forget touse yourpowersandskillsalong with your weaponswhen dealing with difficult enemies.

Traveling To Sirius III-A - Further Into The Unknown in Starfield

As you follow the quest marker, you’ll eventually reach the artifact, but you’ll also face off against aStarborn. Defeat the Starborn anduse the laser cutter to free the artifact for interaction. Interacting with the artifact will trigger a vision and complete the objective.

Go To Procyon V-B

With the artifact collected, open the mission menu to choose the “Go to Procyon V-B” objective tofast travelto the planet. Look for the Abandoned Muybridge Pharmaceuticals Lab on Procyon V-B and land your spaceship there.

Find The Artifact On Procyon V-B

The lab is guarded by Va’ruun’s forces, and you now have the option to either take astealth or guns-blazing approach. After you eliminate the Va’ruun’s zealots,interact with a computer terminal to unlock a red doorthat leads you to the lab’s underground area. Follow the quest marker to reachthe second artifact guarded by another Starborn. Defeat the Starborn and use the laser cutter to free the artifact before interacting with it.

Add The Artifacts To The Collection

With both artifacts in your possession, travel to the Lodge andinteract with the artifact collection to add both artifacts. Themembers of the Constellationwill then share their opinions on collecting these artifacts.

To complete the quest, speak with Vladimir to learn about his needs for upgrading the Eye and accept his request.
