Split Fiction feels like a spiritual successor to Hazelight’s 2021 co-op masterpiece,It Takes Two, but still manages to take things up a notch while carving out its own unique legacy in the list of best modern two-player experiences.
The title takes approximately 16 to 20 hours to complete, depending on you and your partner’s gaming prowess as well as your own personal desire to complete every bit of content that the game has to offer.

Main Chapter Walkthroughs
Split Fiction is broken up into eight main chapters that divide time equally between Mio’s sci-fi universe and Zoe’s fantasy world.
While each level is fairly linear, they can also be tricky to navigate at times if you simply can’t figure out the right direction to keep heading in, or if you’re stuck on a particularly challenging puzzle.

Side Story Walkthroughs
Side stories in Split Fiction are present in chapters two through five. While all of these aretechnicallyoptional levels, every single one is wildly creative and adds greatly to the overall enjoyment of the game.
You do not want to miss any of these twelve stories. With six coming from Mio’s brain and the same amount lifted from Zoe’s, Split Fiction’s side content is extremely varied and full of wacky surprises.
