Marvel fans are currently caught in the hype web of the newSpider-Man: No Way Hometrailer, which visually confirmed the return of past live-action villains and a few characters from the Tom Holland trilogy.
The rumor that hasnât been confirmed, and most likely wonât be until the filmâs release, is the involvement of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfieldâs Spider-Men. People affiliated with the project are understandably keeping tight-lipped, however, a returning actor fromFar From Homemay have confirmed Maguireâs Multiverse comeback.
J.B. Smoove Interview
The actor was also asked which returning, live-action Spider-Man villain he was most excited to see. âOf course man, Jamie Foxx coming back, baby. Come on, whatâs up, Jamie! Thatâs my dude right there, Iâm excited, Iâm very excited about it,â Smoove said.
The interviewer was very direct with his question, giving Smoove the two options of Maguire or Garfield to choose from. The question was also very matter of fact as if it had already been confirmed that the two Spider-Men were present in the film, and Smoove responded in the same tone. There was no awkwardness nor any pause to think about his answer, which some fans have taken as confirmation that both actors will âteam upâ with Holland at some point inNo Way Home.
Is There More Proof That Maguire and Garfield Will Be inNo Way Home?
Firstly, Garfieldâs stunt double was spotted on set during filming forNo Way Home. The stunt actor even posted on Instagram about working on the set before the post was swiftly deleted.
Secondly, the Spanish dub and Brazilian dub voice actors Roger Pera and Manolo Rey, who both worked on Sam Raimiâs trilogy, hinted that they both did some work forNo Way Home.
Lastly, there has been a new release ofNo Way Homefigures, and one figure is clearly Maguireâs webbed suit from the original trilogy.
