Sonic The Hedgehog30th Anniversary stream predictions
First off, it’s important to note thatback in 2019, Sega announced that severalSonicgames would be coming in 2021, and how it’d be a “big year” for the fastest hedgehog. Following this announcement, many fans expected some news to come around in 2020, but nothing happened as the pandemic struck.
However, back in late 2020, Segareconfirmedthat severalSonicprojects would be coming in 2021. This means we’ll definitely be getting at least two games getting announced.
Sonic Generations 2, new anime, new spinoff
The most likely scenario is the announcement of a newSonic anniversary game. A follow-up toSonic Generations, which launched for the 20th anniversary in 2011.
Next, a newSonicanime series could be announced as well. Personally, as aSonicboomer, I’d love a new 2D series likeSonic X. With that said, theSonic Boom3DCG series was pretty good too if you get used to Knuckles' increadibly bad redesign. Sticks the Badger, the new character voiced by Aoi Yuuki, was pretty cool as well.
Lastly, together with a “traditional"Sonicgame getting announced, Sega might reveal a more outlandishSonicspinof. Perhaps we could see a newSonicJRPG getting announced.
In any case, we are bound to see some major announcements seeing all that teasing from Sega. Are you excited forSonic’s 30th anniversary? you’re able to always reach out to me and share your predictionson Twitter @A_iyane07.
