The conclusion ofTokyo Revengersleft some people unsatisfied because it didn’t fully explore the backstories of certain characters. For example, fans are still uncertain about Shuji Hanma’s true motivations and reasons for his actions in the story.

Another aspect that seemed problematic was how the time-travel element was handled towards the end. When Mikey seriously hurts Takemichi, both characters go back in time in an attempt to correct mistakes from the past.

Some have guessed that the new series might be a “continuation” ofTokyo Revengers, occurring in one of the story’s unsuccessful timelines. This idea is not fully accepted by all.

People have also expressed that instead of a new story, the mangaka should focus on rewriting the conclusion ofTokyo Revengers.

A suggestion from fans is to fully steer clear of thedelinquent genre, signifying that his abilities might be better suited in other areas. Yet, a more cynical view could say that the creator should keep writing delinquent-themed stories because they are likely to sell no matter how good they are, given his own delinquent past.
