By the end of the last episode, Jin-woo was upgraded to Shadow Monarch, and this is where the real game begins. Jinwoo learned the command to raise his own shadow army. With his newfound abilities, Jinwoo added Igris to his battalion. With the upcoming season, Jinwoo will finally showcase how he uses Igris in his favor.

Season 2 ofSolo Levelingwill begin by adapting the Red Gate Arc. In this arc, Jinwoo will get himself and Han Song Yi spots in the Toger Guild’s training exercises for new recruits. However, the duo unexpectedly gets caught up in a Red Gate. This gate will transport them to a freezing and snow-covered landscape.
Due to the harshness of the area, eight of the hunters who go through the gate will perish, while Jinwoo will be forced to kill the party leader, Kim Chul. Out of the twelve people who passed the Red Gate, only three would come back alive.

In this situation, the Jin Woo would face the Ice Bears, a race of significantly large polar bears. Some of them are even as big as tanks. They are extremely hostile towards humans and travel in packs. They are led by an alpha, which in this case is Tank.

Season 2 ofSolo Levelingwill bring with it the most awaited battle that will demonstrate Jinwoo’s ability as a Shadow Monarch. In the Red Gate arc, Jinwoo will be confronted by Tank, an alpha among Ice Bears. Without batting an eye, Jinwoo decides that it’s time to usehis newfound power. He immediately calls forth his shadow soldiers to battle Tank.

Tank, who is a behemoth of a bear, makes quick work of these soldiers and Jinwoo’s mana gets depleted very soon. As a last resort, Jinwoo calls forth Igris, his superior shadow. The Blood Red Commander proves that a mere bear, no matter how big it is, is nothing to him. His clean slashes divide the bear’s body from its head.
In the aftermath of the battle, Jinwoo realized that Igris is a loyal and trusted shadow as well as an extremely powerful follower. He admits that they are both matched evenly. This battle scene was simply epic in the webtoon, and after being animated, it is bound to make the audience scream out of joy.
