Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni situation is heating up with Baldoni’s lawsuit against The New York Times. Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman is making major claims that he will be filing more lawsuits against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. Lively broke her silence on their rumored feud with a complaint against Baldoni on December 20th.

It stated that she was subject to a smear campaign after she expressed concerns about Baldoni’s behavior. Lively claimed that Baldoni s*xually harassed her and created a hostile working environment. Baldoni’s lawsuit stated that Lively tried to constantly take over the creative control and accused Reynolds of berating him over a misunderstanding.

In her complaint filed with the California Civil Rights Department,Blake Livelyaccused Justin Baldoni of improvising intimate scenes that were not in the script (via People). She also accused him of showing images of nde women to Lively, discussing his personal sx life, and talking to her trainer about her weight loss without consent.

She also claimed that Baldoni took part in a“social manipulation”campaign with the help of a PR team, who are also named in her complaint. Her complaint also included text messages betweenJustin Baldoniand his PR team. The New York Times wrote an article siding with Lively and releasing some of these text messages.
Baldoni filed a lawsuit against the Times, accusing the outlet of libel. Baldoni claimed thatLively was the difficult one on set, constantly trying to change things about the film. He accused her of trying to interfere in the editing process and of issuing an ultimatum to studio execs to release her version of theIt Ends With Uscut.

Baldoni further accusedRyan Reynolds, claiming that he“aggressively berated”the Jane the Virgin alum. This alleged altercation happened over the fat-shaming comments that Lively mentioned in her lawsuit. Baldoni calls it a misunderstanding in his suit. Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman has since made major claims, even appearing on Megyn Kelly’sYouTubechannel.
He has promised torelease every single text message and documentpertaining to the case on a website, allowing the public to determine whether there was any harassment or not. He reiterated these claims when he appeared on TMZ and even threatened major lawsuits against Lively and her publicist.

Bryan Freedman appeared in an interview with TMZ where he confirmed that he intended to sue Leslie Sloane, Blake Lively’s publicist. He claimed to have in possession of text messages and receipts that will go along with the complaint. Freedman shared,“She’s dead in the water”(via @LawyerYouKnow/YouTube).

However, Freedman has refrained from revealing what a countersuit will exactly allege against Lively. Her lawyers have responded to Freedman’s claims and shared that it was retaliation against her after she opened up about Baldoni’s misconduct.
They accused Baldoni of trying to trivialize the allegations by blaming the victim. A statement from her lawyers read (via Forbes):

A classic tactic to distract from allegations of this type of misconduct is to ‘blame the victim’ by suggesting that they invited the conduct, brought it on themselves, misunderstood the intentions, or even lied. Another classic tactic is to reverse the victim and offender, and suggest that the offender is actually the victim.
According to Forbes, Baldoni will be countering each of the allegations made against him in the civil rights complaint. It was also alleged that Lively and Reynolds forced WME to drop Baldoni. However, the talent agency has since refuted the claim.
