Firewalk Studios Waiting In Layoff Limbo After Concord Flop
The entire studio is in disarray after one of the biggest disasters in recent gaming history.
A trailer for Secret Level on the official Prime Video YouTube channel has shown clips from various episodes ahead ofthe series’ launch on December 10.

The two episodes that stick out the most are the ones for negative reasons: Mega Man and Concord.
Mega Man Is Stuck In The Uncanny Valley
The Mega Man, Secret Level episode, has gone for a more realistic interpretation of the protagonist and Dr. Light. This has resulted in some genuinelyunsettling character models, leaving people to wonder why the show didn’t go for a more cartoonish approach.
Fans are also curious aboutthe Concord episode, which follows the game’s catastrophic public failure to capture an audience and Sony’s refund of all purchases.

The Concord episode will be fascinating because everyone will get a closer look at a game world for something that can’t evenbe played anymore.
Still, it’s not all doom and gloom for Secret Level. The episodes featuring Dungeons & Dragons characters battling Tiamat andSpace Marinesfrom Warhammer 40,000 fighting Xenos look faithful to the source material.

God Of War TV Series Will Premier On Amazon Prime Video
Cory Barlog is also confirmed as executive producer on the show.
While the Mega Man episode isn’t aesthetically pleasing, it might be able to crawl out of the uncanny valley once people get used to the oddly realistic child hero and are redeemed by its story.

Who knows, maybe the Concord episode will be so terrific that it willspark a revival? Perhaps the green mohawk guy needed more time in the spotlight to win over the audience.
Secret Level is covering a wide variety of games, so it’s not as if it will be stuck in Concord/Mega Man lands for long.
The fact that fans can visit the worlds of Armored Core, Sifu, The Outer Worlds, and even Pac-Man again suggests that Secret Level might be worth watching.
