However, inSea of Stars, especially the DLCThroes of the Watchmaker, that just won’t cut it. Holy hell, what a tough DLC. I had no choice but to use all my restorative items, which, in this game, come in the form of food.

So, to guarantee I had enough popcorn or ice cream in reserve, I had to cook my own sustenance. To prepare the best restorative items, I had tofind some recipes. After all, my Solstice Warriors aren’t all that knowledgeable when it comes to circus-based confectionery.

All Cooking Recipes in Throes of the Watchmaker
One of thechanges that Throes of the Watchmaker makescompared to the base game of Sea of Stars is a soft reset in your progression. Zale and Valere change classes, lose all their equipment, and none of the consumables are usable in Horloge.
That’s why, if you want to restore your HP, MP, or cure KO, it’s a good idea to save some money or hunt for ingredients to prepare popcorn, ice cream, and any other circus-themed food.
At first, we can only cook two dishes, Popcorn and Ice Cream. Then, we expand our cooking skills by finding three more recipes in Throes of the Watchmaker.
The three recipes we find are:
Cures KO +75% HP (Ally)
+75% HP/+33% MP (Ally)
Caramel Corn
+40% HP (Party)

Ivory Towers
When you reach Ivory Towers, you’ll need to climb some vines on the wall to unlock a gate and enter the Narcis King’s castle.
However, instead of opening the gate and going down, just keep going right to the vines to find a milk dispenser. Then, climb down the vines to spot a lonely chest.
Open it to get the Barbapapa recipe. It’s the best one since it can cure KO. Also, it’s a sweet treat.
In Wolf Rock, as you progress through the dungeon, you’ll reach an area that is completely dark. you’re able to interact with crystals to light up your surroundings andproperly solve the puzzles.
In this area, the Muse Drone is also active, suggesting that we’ll use it to swap objects around and move forward. Proceed through this darkened area until you unlock a wooden stair shortcut.
Going down these stairs, you’ll need to pick up a platform with the Muse Drone to place it somewhere else and keep going. However, before reaching the main objective, you’ll bump into another block spot halfway.
Interact with it, summon a new platform out of thin air, and on the other side, you’ll find a chest housing the Milkshake recipe.
Horloge Town
The Caramel Corn recipe is easy to find, but can be missed if you’re not paying attention. That’s because it’s bought at a stall in Horloge Town, but it only becomes available near the end of the game.
I didn’t notice exactly if it shows up before or after the Wolf Rock events, but I bought it after getting the ticket to enter the Big Top dungeon, the last one in Throes of the Watchmaker.
The vendor is found on the east side of Horloge Town, right in front of the tent where we deliver the Certificate of Balloonery to getthe Time Rune IX.
At first, she only sold Music Sheets, but later, she offered the recipe for Caramel Corn. It costs 79 Tokens, which is quite pricey, so either save some tickets or sell some of your ingredients.
