Another huge release for 2022 is right around the corner as Volition’s reboot of their hit franchise, Saints Row, will release for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC this Tuesday.
The reboot was announced in August of 2021 and was scheduled to release in February of this year, but was later delayed by 6 months. According toJim Boone, the Chief Creative Officer at Volition, the delay was to ensure that Saints Row was the best it could possibly be on release.
It may have been a long 6 months for those wanting to jump into Saints Row, but the official release time is now only a matter of hours away.
Saints Row Reboot Release Time & Date
The official release date for Saints Row isTuesday, August 23rd 2022. The title will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC, exclusively on The Epic Games Store. As for the official release time, the Twitter account for Saints Row confirmed that it will launch on all platforms worldwide atmidnightin your local region.
This means no matter where you are in the world, or what platform you’ve purchased Saints Row on, you’ll be able to jump in as soon as the clock strikes midnight in your timezone. It was also confirmed by the Saints Row team that Xbox players can pre-load right now, whilst PlayStation users will be able to pre-load 48 hours before release. Unfortunately, those purchasing the game via The Epic Games Store will not be able to pre-load before release.
