Despite bothResident Evil 2andKingdom Hearts IIIhaving great debuts the past two weeks, neither title could stay ahead of Rockstar’sRed Dead Redemption 2on the UK sales chart for the sixth week of the year.
Red Dead Redemption 2jumped back up to the number one position on the chart this week and beat out likely the two hottest games of the 2019 while doing so. In addition,FIFA 19also jumped past bothRE2andKH3this week to reclaim the number two position. Aftera strong 2018 forFIFA 19, it continues to sell extremely well in the UK along withRDR2.
As forKingdom Hearts IIIandResident Evil 2, they each landed at third and fourth respectively on the sales chart this week, which is still solid all things considered. Per usual,Call of Duty: Black Ops 4rounded out the top 5 this week.
As for notable new debuts, last week didn’t see any high profile games releasing and as such the sales chart remained relatively stagnant. Things should change drastically this coming week though as new titles likeJump Force,Far Cry New Dawn,Metro Exodus, andCrackdown 3are all slated to release on Friday, February 15.
