Exploring through the world will have you come across plenty of chests and pick-ups such asPal Eggs— something you will find in these chests are Schematics for different items. These Schematics can lead you to have some of thebest weapons in the game— such as Legendary Weapons. You will be able to get your hands on a Legendary Weapon for each of the following types of weapons: An Assault Rifle, a Bow, a Crossbow, a Handgun, a Shotgun, and a Rocket Launcher.
Where To Find All Legendary Weapon Schematics
Legendary Weapons will be amazing atdealing with Tower Bossesand high-level Pal enemies thanks to theirquality and performance. This iseven more effectivewhen your partner Pal has anelement that your opponent is weak against. Unlike the Schematics you may be used to finding within chests, these Schematicswill come from defeating specific Field Boss Alpha Pals, making them much easier to get hold of.
you may also get the schematics from catching the Alpha Pals as well, rather than just killing them — your preference!

Select theFast Travel locationto theAncient Civilization Ruinsand then head north. After traveling for a short while, you will have the Blazamut Field Alpha Pal iconappear on your map. As Field Alpha Pals move around, the icon on the map will also move to wherethe Pal’s current location is. This is a great way toknow where your target will beif you feel the need to leave andquickly get some extra levelsunder your belt. It is worth noting that this Pallives in a very hot climate— the volcanic island located to the far west of the game’s map. So be sure to come well-preparedto brave the intense heatof this area.
Desolate Church
Once you arrive at the Desolate Church Fast Travel location,look south on the mapto see a road, and below this road,a clearing. Once you have reached this clearing,head west from this locationto discover the Field Alpha Pal of a Kingpaca. Being a Neutral-type Pal means you will want to have yourhardest-hitting Dark-type pals. Do not underestimate this Pal just because it is a Neutral-type, it can hit very hard. A good strategy is to let your Pals be its targetand stay far enough to deal effective damage.
Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster
Once you arrive at this Fast Travel location, pull up your map and follow the trail south.Just by following this trail, you will cross paths with the Bushi Field Alpha Pal— defeat them to get the Schematic.Bring a Water Palto make taking this Pal down a lot easier.
Deep Bamboo Thicket
Once you arrive at theDeep Bamboo Thicket Fast Travel location, head west to find a clearing. Once you have arrived at this clearing, head to the westmost side of this spot. Now head south on the map. You will cross paths with theBeakon Field Alpha Pal.They are a flying Pal, soprioritize your ranged damageoutput. you’re able to have a full party of Pals thanks to Necklace Items tounleash a barrage of damagefrom the ground.
Rocket Launcher

Once you arrive at the Fast Travel,head west and you will see this Pal in the skybefore it even appears on your map. Jetragon is an amazing Pal to have in your party, both in terms of combat andriding it as a mount— so you should reallyput some effort into catching this Pal.Jetragon isone of the strongest Palsandone of the fastest flying mountsin the entire game.
PIDF Tower Entrance
Though not as brutal a climate as taking on Blazamut, the sweltering desert area will still need you toprepare some heat resistance. You should see the Boss Tower with ease in the day, and be able tomark the Fast Travelwhen you get close to it. To the southwest of this tower will bea body of water. This is the spot wherethe Suzaku Field Alpha Palwill move around in. Just like Blazamut and Bushi,have a strong Water Palby your side for this fight.

How To Craft Legendary Weapons
Just getting these Schematics is not enough; you will still need togo and craft these weapons. Head back to your base with any of these Schematics and up toone of your workbenches. Luckily, you don’t need to grind levels to get to a higher Technology Tier or spend a lot ofTechnology Pointsto unlock some special structure to craft these weapons —all you need is a Primitive Workbench.
These weapons arethe absolute best guns in the gameand arewell worth the effortin taking down the Field Boss Alpha Pals they are locked behind. You may have todo a lot of preparing, and it could take you multiple attempts. However,do not give up;use these Alpha Pals as goals to overcome, and treat these weaponsas your rewardsfor achieving those goals.
Schematics are a drop, and like all drops have a percentage chance of happening. You may need to repeat fights several times. Luckily, a Field Alpha Pal will respawn 15 real-world minutes after you defeat it.
