While Pocketpair Inc. just released the massiveFeybreak patchforPalworlda few days ago, it seems the developers aren’t taking time off for the holidays, as a new Palworld patch has been released on consoles and PC.
As one might expect from a follow-up patch after a content drop, this title update is aimed to fix issues that surfaced from the Feybreak patch more than anything else.

Palworld Patch Notes for December 27, 2024Pocketpairnames this patch as v0.4.12, and it contains balance changes to the Xenolord Raid, and a short list of bug fixes.
Alongside the list, Pocketpair has also mentioned the patch contains “other minor bug fixes,” though it didn’t elaborate on what these were.
This should be the last patch for the game this 2024, though we wouldn’t be surprised if another one was released given Pocketpair has been very active on applying updates to any outstanding issues.

Palworld’s end-of-year patch marks the game’s impressive debut earlier this year on Xbox and PC, with the PS5 version released in September as a surprise dropduring Sony’s State of Playshow.
Even if Palworld managed to turn heads and sell millions of copies, it’s not all fun and games for developer Pocketpair, as the studio is currently facing a lawsuit from Nintendo forallegedly infringingon their Pokemon trademark.
If you’re still on the fence on Palworld and waiting for the game to hit the free-to-play sector, you’ll be waiting for a long time. Pocketpair has remained steadfast in its decision that Palworldwill never be a free-to-play game.
