Jormuntide Ignis is a Dark Dragon Pal that is a powerhouse inalmost every sense of the word. Itcannot be overstated how good this Pal is, and its various abilities speak for themselves. Jormuntide Ignis comes with an incredible Attack Power and can dish out some monster damage in a fight. On the other side, its Defense is just as good, allowing Jormuntide Ignis to tank a lot of damage. As you can probably assume, all of this means that Jormuntide Ignis isnot an easy catchand will require a lot of planning and dedication on your part.
How To Find Jormuntide Ignis
There is only one place in the game where you’re able to find Jormuntide Ignis, and it is honestlyone of the worst areasthat it could be: the Pal Sanctuary 2.
This sanctuary is inthe northwest corner of the map, and you can see it is a decently-sized island off the coast of the mainland if you look at your map.
The reason this area is so rough is that all Pals are protected here, hence being a sanctuary. If you are caught trying to hunt a Pal, you will haveguards descend on you, firing openly, and chasing you down as you try to escape. This can make the entire process very difficult as it adds on to the battle you have to do with Jormuntide Ignis in the first place.
You are going to want touse a flying mountof some kind to reach the island.
Because the Jormuntide Ignis is a Dragon type Pal, you are going to want to bringyour best Ice Palalong for the fight. Jormuntide Ignis is goingto be around Level 40when you find it, so plan on having yourself and your Pals leveled up to at least 42, though 45 is best. Forthe battle itself, use your Pal to take most of the attention from the Jormuntide Ignis. While they fight it out,use close-range weaponrylike the Double-Barrel Shotgun. The Jormuntide Ignis doesn’t have very devastating close-range attacks, meaning that you can operate in its vicinity pretty easily.
Bring along higher-level Spheres to use,like Hyper or Legendary.
