Players can have up to 450 friends on their list and by adding them, they unlock various new features. The system is supposed to be designed toenhance the game’s social exchanges, encouraging positive interactionsand inspiring teamwork. However, there are many players who have been exploiting this system intentionally to disrupt the experience of others.

Recently, Reddit User, Mason051, made a post asking the game developer Niantic to fix this issue as quickly as possible. After seeing the post, the community has been fairly active and speculating about what possible can the developer make.
Players are frustrated and want the devs to punish the culprits.
While some players are recommending some fixes.
Players are annoyed and are trying to find out who is doing these things.
This highlights that the sense of community and mutual support that the game wants to create is being ruined by these disruptive players. This issue should be resolved as soon as possible otherwise it will ruin many players’ gameplay experiences.
