In a report fromGameSpot,Super Smash Bros. Ultimatewill be getting newPokemon Sword and Shieldthemed Spirits.

From November 21 to the 26th, players can catch Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Corviknight, Morpeko, and Zacian & Zamazenta. While the Spirits will be added to your collection once you beat them, you’ll also earn more Spirit Points than usual.

Recently, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate got nominated for game of the year forthis year’s The Game Awards. It’ll be up againstControl,Death Stranding,The Outer Worlds,Resident Evil 2, andSekiro: Shadows Die Twice.Smash Ultimate also recieved update 6.0.0, which unlocks the ability to use Terry Bogard, the latest DLC character, new Spirits, outfits, music, and more. The game will recieve one more DLC as a part of the Fighter Pass, but it hasn’t been announced who the fighter will be. Additionally, the game will recieve more DLC fighters once the last Fighter Pass character is released.

As forPokemon Sword and Shield, the game’sreached number two on the UK’s sales charts, beating outStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.Sword and Shield65% more units thanPokemon Let’s Go Pikachuand Let’s Go Eeveeand it’s had the second-best launch for aPokemontitle in the UK. Additionally, in a report fromGamesindustry.biz,Pokemon Sword and Shieldhave sold over 1.36 million retail copies in three days in Japan. This makes it the best opening week for a Nintendo Switch game in Japan, beating outSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate.The sales number doesn’t take digital sales of the games into account. We’ll have to wait and see for the U.S sales numbers for Sword and Shield.
