My Dress-Up Darling episode 9 Recap
So, episode 9 starts with Kitagawa and Gojo discussing their next cosplay. Kitagawa picks up her skirt and shows her swimsuit to Gojo. He screams out of embarrassment, to which Kitagawa replies that when she sent him the same pic, he didn’t respond. With a lot of effort, Gojo finally says that the swimsuit looks perfect.
Kitagawa paints a tiny crystal which is a part of her cosplay outfit. She expresses her feelings by saying that it feels good to be of some help. Gojo is happy to see Kitagawa smile. Juju and Kitagawa try out the dresses tailored by Gojo. They are mesmerized by how beautiful the dress looks and how perfectly it fits.
Gojo starts to do Kitagawa’s makeup, and Juju helps him. After everything is finally done, Kitagawa doesn’t believe she can look so beautiful. Before they can start shooting for the cosplay, it starts raining, ruining everyone’s mood.
While Kitagawa and Juju are engaged in their silly talks, Gojo and Shinju enter the place. Kitagawa and Juju are surprised to see Shinju dressed as a boy. Then we see a flashback where Shinju finally accepts that she would love to cosplay her favorite character, ‘Soma’ from Flower Princess Blaze.
Soma’s costume matches Gojo’s school uniform, so he asks Shinju to try out his shirt. But the dress doesn’t fit Shinju, given her curvy body. Finally, the two learn about something called a B holder, which can take care of the curves, and Gojo also arranges for the wig.
Now, in the present time, Juju and Kitagawa are amazed to see how perfectly Shinju is cosplaying ‘Coma.’ Finally, everyone takes beautiful pictures cosplaying their characters.
