Reality TV has given us countless unscripted moments that we can’t forget andBig Brotherstands out as one of the most iconic shows in this genre. Since 2000 the show has aired for 26 seasons giving away its considerable prize pool to the winners. Whether they were strategic or charismatic, they gave it their all. But, what happens after the camera stops rolling? Do they continue to win or would they rather prefer a quiet life? Let’s find out what the most famousBig Brotherwinners are doing now.
The first to win by a unanimous vote onBig Brother
For the first time inBig Brother’s history, in season 10 of the show, Dan Gheesling took the house by storm and secured a unanimous win. Never before had someone in the house come close to winning the jury vote 7-0. Furthermore, at the start of the show, nobody expected this to happen.
Very early in the season, Gheesling was targetted. Yet, somehow he flipped the house and slowly but surely ended up winning. However, he returned to the show once again in season 14 where he was the runner-up.

He came close to winning but the judges were reluctant to vote for someone who already won once. He also appeared in season 2 ofThe Traitorswhere he was banished on episode 6.

A different approach to secure the win atBig BrotherSeason 24
Unlike other iconic winners like Dan Gheesling and Rachel Reilly, Taylor Hale took a different approach to winning the show. She wasn’t a very strong contender. Despite being on the block six times, she evaded being evicted. Nobody expected her to win.
However, by developing a positive relationship with the houseguests she was able to narrowly escape eviction and climb up the ladder to ultimately become the first Black woman to winBig Brother.

Achieving what she did, the way she did it, was extremely difficult given how cheeky most people behaved that season. After winning season 24 ofBig Brothershe had an interview withUs Weeklywhere she said,
I feel like I have played this game, not just for Taylor Mackenzie Dickens Hale. I’ve played it for Da’Vonne [Rogers]. I’ve played it for Bayleigh Dayton, every Black woman who has played this game, and ultimately Azah Awasum and Danielle Reyes and Monica Bailey who made final three, but just couldn’t take it home for whatever circumstance.

Even after winning Hale stayed just as humble, deserving of the America’s Favorite Player title she received in the finale of the show. To top it all off, she is now theBig Brotherjury roundtable moderator.
